CARIBOU – Herbert Lee Judkins, 66, died Oct. 26, 2004, at his Caribou residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 30, 1938, in Caribou, the son of Herbert and Ethel (Langley) Judkins. He attended the Caribou school and had received his GED. Herbert was a member of the Maine Army National Guard for more than 21 years and was also employed by various area farmers and contractors. Herbert enjoyed fishing, and the outdoors. He loved telling stories and socializing with his family and friends. He was a kind and gentle man who will be sadly missed by many. He is survived by his wife of more than 46 years, Loretta (Anderson) Judkins of Caribou; his daughter, Tammy Judkins (formerly Cousins) and her daughters, Alexandra and Margaret Cousins of Farmingdale; his son and daughter-in-law, James and Kay Judkins and their children, Branden, Ashley and Jonathan, his daughter, Dolly Judkins and her partner, Alan Hebert of Caribou; one sister, Laura Pendelton; and one brother, Roger Judkins, both of Missouri; his pet cat, Bobtail will also sadly miss Herb. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, from the Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou. Friends who wish may contribute to the Judkins family, 14 Limestone St., Caribou, ME 04736.
