MOUNT DESERT – Heslyn “Bob” G. Kelley, 76, died Nov. 24, 2006, at Mount Desert Island Hospital. He was born Feb. 22, 1929 in South Attleboro, Mass., the son of Heslyn L. and Georgia (Hartley) Kelley. Bob worked for the town of Mount Desert for many years, driving school bus, snow plowing and doing carpentry work, including building floats. He and his wife enjoyed owning and operating Babson Creek Greenhouse, Somesville, for many years. Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Edna (Dickey) Kelley; one daughter, Sharon L. Kelley of Somesville; one brother, Richard Kelley and wife, Carol, of Connecticut; and two sisters, Clara and husband, Irvin Everett, of East Corinth and Pauline and John Kelly of Florida. Private family services will be held at Brookside Cemetery, Somesville. Contributions in Bob’s memory may be made to the Southwest Harbor Animal Shelter, P.O.
