BRENTWOOD, N.Y. – Hope Allen passed away Dec. 22, 2007. She was the beloved wife of Charles K. Allen Jr.; loving mother of Gary Allen, Kathie Koontz and Susan Blanco; cherished grandmother of four and great-grandmother of two. Reposing at Michael J. Grant Funeral Homes Inc., 571 Suffolk Ave., Brentwood, N.Y. Family will receive friends to celebrate Hope’s life 9-11 a.m. Thursday. Committal service to take place in Sedgwick at a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial donations to American Diabetes Association.
