KINGMAN – Hubert W. Ogden, 70, died peacefully on Jan. 23, 2004, after a very brave battle with cancer. He was a longtime woodsman and loved to fish and hunt. He was born Aug. 29, 1933, in Prentiss, to Asa and Mildred (Worster) Ogden. He survived by his wife of 51 years, Geraldine (Lancaster) Ogden of Kingman; his son, Reginald Ogden and his wife, Pam, of Lincoln; two grandchildren, Amy (Ogden) Hanscom and her husband, Kyle, of Lincoln, Mark Ogden and his wife, Candace, of Hampden; four great-grandchildren, Emma and Andrew Hanscom of Lincoln, Brittany and Zachary Ogden of Hampden; one brother, Lewis Ogden and his wife, Elizabeth, of Plainville, Conn.; two sisters, Kay (Ogden) Bennett and her husband, Mike, of Winterport, Gail (Ogden) Partridge and her husband, Steve, of Kenduskeag; several nieces and nephews; his fishing buddy, Bernard Moody of Kingman; and his dog, Cocoa. He will be missed for his humor and love of life. At his request there will be no funeral. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Kingman Cemetery.
