HYLIE KENNETH HALL JR. SOUTHWEST HARBOR – Hylie Kenneth Hall Jr., 69, died Oct. 8, 2003, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Aug. 21, 1934, in Bar Harbor, the son of Hylie K. and Thelma (Wallace) Hall Sr. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carla (Swanson) Hall, of Southwest Harbor and Florida; one son, Hylie J.K. Hall “Jim,” and his wife, Sarah Welton Hall, of Bar Harbor; and two daughters, Marjorie Lillian Hall of Deer Isle, and Paula Davenport Michaud and her husband, Scott, of Southwest Harbor; mother-in-law, Ferne Tranton Swanson of Southwest Harbor; brother-in-law, Erny Swanson of South Paris; one sister, Geraldine Hall Harris of Buzzards Bay, Mass.; and one brother, Richard Hall; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; special friends, Bob Webber, Jerry Michaud, Mike Levesque, Bruce Settler, Harry Luhrs, Mike Miller, Larry Duffy and Jack Jordan; and many other dear friends, too many to mention. Hylie was predeceased by his parents, Hylie K. and Thelma (Wallace) Hall Sr.; one daughter, Margaret Hall; and one sister, Francis Hall Lovejoy. Graveside memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003, at Hillside Cemetery, Hulls Cove, with the Rev. Ambrose Rolfe officiating.
