RIPLEY – Ida V. Perkins, 85, died April 7, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Jan. 28, 1922, in Baltimore, a daughter of Joseph and Ida (Buxenstein) Davis. She is survived by a daughter, Ida West of Smithfield, R.I.; two brothers, John and his wife, Lorraine Davis, of Baltimore and Charles and his wife, Carolyn Davis, of Rochester, N.Y.; a sister, Elsie Thomas of Easton, Md.; two grandchildren, Michael and his wife, Melody West, of East Taunton, Mass., and Rebecca and her husband, Paul Vaughan, of Plymouth, Mass.; two great-grandchildren, Colby and Jenna; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Leonard “Jay” and his wife, Althea, of Lisbon Falls. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis G. Perkins; and a brother, Joseph Davis. Friends may call 3-5 p.m. Tuesday at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main St., Dexter, where funeral services will be held 5 p.m. with her grandson, Michael West officiating.
