SANGERVILLE – Inez A. Holt, 84, died Nov. 14, 2005, at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born July 28, 1921, in Parkman, the daughter of Charles and Gladys (Davis) Lanpher. Inez worked for many years for Guilford Industries in Guilford. She was very involved with church work for many years and in recent years was a member of Grace Bible Church in Sangerville. She, along with her husband, Clayton, and Maurice and Corinne Neal, built and for many years operated the Town Line Drive-In, in Abbot. She was predeceased by her husband, Clayton E. Holt, in 1994. She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Sandra and Kenneth Gerry of Cambridge and Ruth Ann and Richard Grant of Millinocket; a son, Vernal and his wife, Sharon Holt, of East Madison; two brothers, Herbert and his wife, Julia Lanpher, of Florida and Omar Lanpher of Dover-Foxcroft; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. At her request, there will be no public visitation. A graveside service will be held in the spring. A special thanks to the staff of Woodlawn Rehab and Nursing Home for their care, and allowing her to come home and sit on her porch.
