WOODVILLE – Isabel C. Dunphy, 91, passed away Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005, at a local healthcare facility. She was born May 21, 1914, in Woodville, the daughter of Arthur and Cora (Kimball) Libby. Isabel enjoyed cooking, crochet, knitting and socializing with her friends, watching her soap opera, but most of all she really loved shopping. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth and her husband, Lyndon Crosby, of East Millinocket and Mary Jane Gurney of Sanford; her sister, Gloria Toussaint of East Millinocket; two granddaughters and their husbands, Laurie and Vern Robichaud and Donna and Kevin Birkel; four great-grandchildren, Jeremy Atwood, Leah Atwood, Jason Birkel, Ryan Birkel; several nieces and nephews and a special nephew, Gilbert Chaisson. Isabel was predeceased by her husband, Coburn Dunphy in 1985; her sister, Marion French, and her brother, Archie Libby. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, R.L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 17 Western Ave., East Millinocket. A funeral service will be celebrated 1 p.m. Friday, Nov 18, at the First Congregational Church in East Millinocket with the Rev. Andrew McLeod officiating.
