INEZ M. (HALL) MANN BAR HARBOR – Inez M. (Hall) Mann, 85, wife of the late Sidney H. Mann, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005, at an Ellsworth healthcare facility. She was born Oct. 6, 1919, in Bar Harbor, the daughter of George H. and Lillie M. (Gray) Hall. Inez was a longtime member of the Eden Baptist Church in Bar Harbor, the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post No. 109 in Ellsworth, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post No. 25 in Bar Harbor, and was a lifetime member of the Bayside Grange, in Ellsworth. Inez drew much enjoyment from knitting and crocheting many items, and also from preparing baked goods. She will especially be remembered for her no bake cookies and her apple brownies. Inez is survived by three children, Clyde Mann of Bar Harbor, Gerald “Jerry” Mann and his wife, Susan, of Ellsworth, and Roberta Cummings and her husband, Russell, of Bar Harbor; six grandchildren, Bonnie, Carren, Christopher, Sabrina, Ben, and Ashley; four great-grand-children, Shelby, Julie, Jay, and Sam; a sister, Bertha Hansen of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage, Inez was predeceased by five brothers, Harold, Herbert, Percy, Lester and Charles Hall; and three sisters, Edna Harding, Ellen Wilkinson, and Geneva “Auntie” Graten. Friends are invited to visit with the family 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, with funeral services commencing at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bob Maddocks officiating. Private interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, Hulls Cove. Gifts in memory of Inez may be sent to the Eden Baptist Church, care of Ed Dillon, Treasurer, 1044 State Route No. 3, Bar Harbor, ME 04609.
