PATTEN – Irven “Bud” Long Jr., 60, died Aug.9, 2005, at Patten. He was born Oct. 25, 1944, in Millinocket, the son of Irven and Audrey (Elwell) Long Sr. He was a former member of the Maine Army National Guard. He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Watson) Long of Patten; three children, Joe of Houlton, Sarah of Houlton and John of New Hampshire; eight grandchildren; one brother, Timothy of Sherman; several aunts uncles and cousins. Friends may call 9-11 a.m. Thursday at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls, with funeral services being held at 11 a.m. with Peter Main officiating. Interment will be in Sherman Mills Cemetery.
