MADAWASKA – Isabelle Cyr, 91, died Jan. 10, 2007, at a Frenchville nursing home. She was born April 4, 1915, in St. David, the daughter of Josephel and Annie (Dufour) Cyr. She is survived by three sons, Eldon J. Cyr and his wife, Therese, Donald B. Cyr and his wife, Claudette, Herman Cyr and his wife, Jacqueline, all of Madawaska; sixgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; one daughter-in-law, Alice Cyr of Madawaska. She was predeceased by her husband, Oneil D. Cyr; one son, Oneil Cyr Jr.; two brothers, Oneil J. Cyr and Hector Cyr; two sisters, Eva and Corinne; one stepbrother, Gerard Dufour; and one stepsister, Sister Rina Dufour. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at St. David Church. Friends and relatives may call 9 a.m. until time of services Saturday at Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be at the parish cemetery later in the spring. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made in her memory to Hospice of Aroostook or to a charity of choice.
