CALAIS – Jacqueline A. (Townsend) Driscoll, 70, of Calais, passed away Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. She was born July 27, 1934, in Woodland, the daughter of Elbridge and Irene (Descheme) Townsend. She was predeceased by her parents, and her children, Joanne, Martin and Peter. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Joseph; her three sons, Daniel Driscoll of Kennebunkport, Tim Driscoll of Westbrook, and Steve Driscoll of Calais; two brothers, Gene Townsend of Woodland, and James Townsend of Connecticut; 10 grandchildren, 21 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 10:45 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, at Immaculate Conception Church in Calais. Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Maine Right To Life, 8 Green St., Augusta, Me 04330. Arrangements are under the care of Cremation Services of Maine, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, Me.
