LINCOLN – Jacquelyn B. (Bailey) Carmichael, 76, wife of the late Richard G. Carmichael of Bridgewater, went home to be with her Lord peacefully Oct. 1, 2007, surrounded by her family, at Mountain Heights Health Care Facility, Patten. She was born Dec. 19, 1930, in Lincoln, the daughter of Herbert and Ida (LaBree) Bailey. She worked as a nurse in Florida and Lincoln for more than 25 years. She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth A. “BA” and her husband, Loren Humphrey, of Benedicta; two sons, Joseph B. Carmichael and his wife, Dorothy, of Bangor and Greggory D. Carmichael of Durham; a sister, Mona and her husband, Gerald Davis, of Lincoln; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; a niece, Steph-anie Stanley; and a nephew, Steve Taylor, both of Lincoln. Friends may call 1-2 p.m. Thursday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family gives special thanks to Dr. Blagdon and the staff at Mountain Heights Health Care.
