MASARDIS – James E. Campbell Sr., 60, died unexpectedly Dec. 31, 2007, at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born Nov. 29, 1947, in Squa Pan, the son of Eugene and Lillian (Goslin) Campbell Sr. He was employed as an auto mechanic for most of his working life. He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Marie (Mason) Campbell of Masardis; one daughter, Roxanne Sock and her husband, Clarence, of Caribou; one son, James Campbell Jr. of Fort Fairfield; one sister, Georgie Smart of New Sweden; one brother, Eugene Campbell Jr. of Fort Fairfield; and three grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call noon Saturday until time of service at Masardis Pentecostal Church where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Donald Morton Jr. and Sam Morton officiating.
