CORINTH – James E. Kelley Sr., 61, was found at his residence April 8, 2005, after a long illness. He was born May 12, 1943, in Middletown, Conn. the son of Edward and Pauline (Ramsdell) Kelley. He was a member of the Charleston Pentecostal Church for more than 30 years and a member of the Maine Trapper’s Association. He loved being outdoors and was a member of the Pine Tree, Coon, Cat and Bear Club of Unity and the National Rifle Association. He worked as a carpenter and was a member of Carpenters Union, Local 1996. Surviving in addition to his former wife and the mother of his children, Susan (Bergeron) Kelley of Corinth; are three daughters, Sandra O’Bar and her husband, Dennis, of Corinth, Myra Violette and her husband, Kenneth, of Brewer, and Ranee Kelley and her fianc?, Arthur Ogden, of Charleston; two sons, James E. Kelley Jr. of Lebanon, and Daniel B. Kelley of Corinth; four grandchildren, Nicholas and Bryan Violette of Brewer and Troy and Reanna O’Bar of Corinth; two brothers, Robert Kelley of Bangor and David Kelley and his wife, Marguerite, of Hermon; a sister, Joyce Buck and her husband, Carleton, of Dover-Foxcroft; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday, at the Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the Charleston Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Matthew Ward and the Rev. Ronald E. Libby officiating. Burial will be in the Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth.
