ST. ALBANS – James Slink, 78, died June 15, 2004, at his St. Albans residence following a long illness. He was born in North Franklin, Conn., Jan. 29, 1926, the son of James and Alice (Blaisdell) Slink Sr. James was a building contractor in Connecticut for many years. He married Judith (Jakel) in Guilford, on March 18, 1978. He was a member of Stanford Conn. Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Judith Slink of St. Albans; a son, Robert; a daughter, Pam; one sister, Lucille; one aunt, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, John and a sister, Dorothy. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2004, at the family home, 405 Square Road, St. Albans, with Pastor Al Worden officiating.
