HOLDEN and MANASSAS, Va. – Jane Mosher-Buyno, 25, died unexpectedly Jan. 4, 2007, in Manassas, Va. Jane was born Feb. 25, 1981, in Exeter. Jane attended St. John’s School, John Bapst High School, and graduated from Bangor High School. Jane was a very thoughtful and kind person. Her life’s passion was taking care of children. She had a natural ability with them. Her goal in life was to be a kindergarten teacher. She enjoyed all the things a young woman would enjoy, her family, the ocean, animals, skiing and camping. She had so many dreams. One story that exemplifies Jane’s life happened years ago when the family was camping in a tent in Illinois. With the arrival of a huge mid-western thunderstorm, the campers decided to make a dash for their grandmother’s house. Jane said to her sister and brother, “Jodie and Drew, you go in first, because you’re more scared than I am.” The three siblings remained close to this day. She leaves behind her sister, Jodie; brother, Drew; mother, Nancy; father, Ray; daughter, Serenity; grandfather, Preston; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visiting hours will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, State Street, Bangor. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at All Souls Congregational Church, Bangor, with a luncheon in the church dining hall after the services.
