CARIBOU and WOODLAND Jane Doody, 69, wife of the late Malen Doody died June 15, 2004, at her Caribou residence following a brief illness. She was born April 4, 1935, in Connor, the daughter of Louis and Agnes (Mazerolle) Beaupre. She was a 1953 graduate of Caribou High School where she served as class secretary as well as working on the class reunion committee. Mrs. Doody was employed as a secretary at Caribou High School for more than 35 years, and was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law, Rodney and Julie Doody of Platte City, Mo., Douglas Doody of E. Thetford, Vt., Dean and Robin Doody of Presque Isle and Mark Doody and friend, Jeremy Newbert, of Gray; one daughter, Malene Bossie of Fort Myers, Fla.; one sister, Ida Schneider of Dansville, N.Y.; six grandchildren, Lance, Andrew, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Alex and Kellen; six brothers-in-law, Ronald Doody and his wife, Viola, Dana Doody and his wife, Ina, Frank Doody and Wendell Doody, all of Woodland, Michael Doody of Middletown, Conn., and Eveard Doody and his wife, Marie, of Bristol, Conn.; a sister-in-law, Linda McCrossin and her husband, Paul, of Presque Isle; her former son-in-law, Rick Bossie of Caribou; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Doody was predeceased by her husband, Malen in 1995. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2004, from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with the Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the New Holy Rosary Cemetery.
