JANE M. SPOONER CARIBOU and BATH – Jane M. Spooner, 95, beloved wife of the late Kenneth L. Spooner, died May 4, 2004, at a Brunswick medical facility after a brief illness. She was born March 26, 1909, at St. Andre New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Ben and Addie (Michaud) Martin. She and her husband were Caribou residents for many years, where she attended Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Most recently she has been a Bath resident, where she was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was predeceased by her husband Aug. 6, 2001. She is survived by one son, Kenneth B. Spooner and his wife, Ginita, of Lakeland, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Anna M. Roberts of Caribou; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Rennie Martin, Albert Martin; a half brother, Oniel Michaud; and by two sisters, Ida Somers, Yvonne Corrale. Family and Friends may call 7-9 p.m., Friday at the Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou. Prayer services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel of the funeral home, with Fr. Jean-Paul Labrie, pastor of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Caribou, officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou.
