BEAVER COVE – Janet M. Olson, 73, died Feb. 14, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 10, 1932, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of Lauritz and Matilda Hansen. She was a member of the Sons of Norway and the quilting club in Greenville. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest R. Olson. She is survived by a son and his wife, Christian and Sarah Olson of Durham; two daughters, Karen Olson of Beaver Cove and Karla Olson of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Brandon, Kirstin and Cameron. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at the United Methodist Church in Greenville Junction, with Pastor Ron Walden and Pastor Kwan Lee, officiating.
