EAST MILLINOCKET – Jean C. Ewing, 76, wife of Randall Ewing, died July 4, 2005, at her summer home on Ambajejus Lake. She was born March 12, 1929, in Old Town, the daughter of Alfred and Leona (Madore) Morancy. Jean helped organize and was a member of the East Millinocket Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed doing needlepoint and loved being at camp and watching TV. In addition to her husband, Randall, of East Millinocket; she is survived by three sons, John of Portland, Rickey of Windham and James of Millinocket Lake; one daughter, Dian Ewing of East Millinocket; two sisters, Anita St. Marie of Old Town and Mary Ducette of Lewiston; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Yvonne Morrisette. A special thank you from Jean’s family to Hospice and to the Lincoln Lakes Regional Dialysis Center. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, East Millinocket.
