MAXFIELD – Jean Jacques Pelletier, 59, husband of Dianne (McElroy) Pelletier, died July 7, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Dec. 2, 1948, in St. Rose, Quebec, the son of Hector and Anita (Pare) Pelletier. Jean worked in the woods for 40 years. He was a loving husband, father and Pepe. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and four-wheeling. He was also good at carpentry work. In addition to his wife of 38 years, Dianne of Maxfield; and his mother, Anita of Quebec, he is survived by three children, Michelle and Mike Fisher, Jason and Sandy Pelletier, all of Medford, and Lisa and Steve McKinnon Jr. of Enfield; five grandchildren, Justin, Devon, Joshua, Arianna and Elizabeth; four sisters, Louiselle Carrier and family, of Quebec, Madeline Dupont and family, of Lewiston, Marjoleine Pelletier of Montreal and Theresa Caron and family, of Quebec; two brothers, Romeo Pelletier and family, and Rene Pelletier, all of Quebec; several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his companion, his dog, Bear. In addition to his father, Hector, he was predeceased by a brother, Leo Paul Pelletier. Friends may call 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Leo Catholic Church, Howland, with the Rev. Leroy Landry officiating. Interment will be at St. Matthew Cemetery, West Enfield.
