BINGHAM – Jeannette C. (Hilton) Tibbetts, 87, died Saturday, March 26, 2005, at the Somerset Rehabilitation & Living Center in Bingham. She was born Nov. 24, 1917, in Moscow, the daughter of Eben and Mabel (Johnson) Hilton. Jeannette graduated from Bingham High School with the class of 1935 and attended beautician school in Boston. She was married July 20, 1940, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Bingham to Blaine J. Tibbetts. Jeannette was a member of the Bingham Century Club, a communicant of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, taught Sunday School at St. Peter’s and was a honorary member of St. Peter’s Altar Guild. She and her husband traveled extensively through the United States and Europe, for 14 years they spent the winter months in Arizona. She enjoyed knitting and sewing and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Blaine J. Tibbetts. She is survived by her sons, Gary Tibbetts and his wife, Bette, of Hampden, and Barry Tibbetts and his wife, Violet, of Bingham; her grandchildren, Christopher Tibbetts and his wife, Julie, of Brewer, Kevin Tibbetts and his wife, Lori, of Winchester, Mass., Daniel Tibbetts and his wife, Kim, of Raymond, Mark Tibbetts and his wife, Kelley, of Newmarket, N.H., and Jeffrey Tibbetts of Newmarket, N.H.; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Kade, Kobe, Sydnee and Noah Tibbetts; great-stepgrand-children, Brooke and Zack Witham and Sierra Lloyd. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Owens Street in Bingham. Interment will be later in the spring at the Bingham Village Cemetery.
