OLD TOWN – Jeannine S. Guay, 76, died May 16, 2007, at a local health care facility. She was born Aug. 7, 1930, in Madawaska. Most of her life was spent working in area shoe shops. She was a communicant of Holy Family Parish. She was a member of Old Town Senior Citizens. She is survived by one son, Anthony L. Guay and his wife, Deborah, of Old Town; one daughter, Gezelle and her husband, Paul Kleinsteuber, of Lantana, Fla.; and one whom they brought up, Sue and her husband, Dennis Martinez, of Maryland; five grandchildren, Pfc. Eric Guay of Georgia, Jason and Jesse Kleinsteuber of Florida, Brian Perry and Tamba Morgan of Florida; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Azilda Murray of Etna, Verna Ireland of Ashford, Conn., and Joyce Brown of Howland; and one brother, Kenneth Belanger of South Carolina. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Leo P. Guay; her sisters, Doris Paradis and Suzanne Bouchard. At her request there will be no visitation hours. A memorial Mass to be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, at Holy Family Parish, Old Town, with the Rev. Apolinary Kavishe, celebrant. Burial will be held after at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town. All are invited to the parish hall after the burial for a luncheon and continued fellowship. Arrangements in the care of Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town.
