BANGOR and BRIDGEWATER – Joan E. Jordan, 74, passed away May 9, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. Joan, the daughter of Donald McIntyre and Marjorie (McDonald) McIntyre, was born Aug. 29, 1932, in Mars Hill. Joan was predeceased by her husband of more than 25 years, Wilfred Jordan of Ripples, New Brunswick. She is survived by her son, Terry and his wife, Barbara Pierce, of Bridgewater; son, Lynn and his wife, Nancy Pierce, of Jefferson; son, Ray Parks and Karen of Eagle Lake; son, Timothy and his wife, Marjorie Parks, of New Gloucester; daughter, Brenda and her husband, Bruce Bane, of Bangor; and daughter, Linda Sue Parks and James of Hermon. Joan has eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A graveside service for friends and family will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at Smith Cemetery, Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
