OLD TOWN – Joan S. Berlucchi, 78, wife of the late Gerald L. Berlucchi, died Feb. 15, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. She was born May 29, 1929, in Bangor, the daughter of Elmer L. and Mary Etta (LaBell) Morrison. Surviving are two children, David A. Berlucchi of Virginia and Kathy L. Mertz of Old Town; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elaine Berlucchi of Portland, who was also her dear friend and Corrine Strang of Virginia; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; one brother, James Morrison; and one sister, Mildred Fuhrman. She will be sadly missed by her family, especially her daughter, who lovingly watched over her for the past few years. She will also be remembered by a special friend, Peggy Manning Higgins of Bangor. A private burial will be held later in the spring. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, Bangor and Brewer.
