BANGOR – John “Mac” W. MacPherson Jr., 54, died unexpectedly June 4, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born May 17, 1952, in Boston, Mass., the son of John W. and Eleanor (Henderson) MacPherson Sr. Mac had an unconditional love for family and friends. Mac worked for Verizon for 29 years. He had a passion for golf, enjoyed fishing, shooting darts and playing cards. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Potter; son, Ryan MacPherson and wife, Danielle, of Leander, Texas; daughters, Cori Cushman and husband, Michael, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Casey Muccio and husband, Frank, of Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany; brother, Thomas Martin of Boston, Mass.; sister, Patricia Parrow and husband, Arthur, of Plymouth, Mass.; grandchildren, Anthony Delgado of Germany and Liam MacPherson of Leander, Texas. Visiting hours will be held 5-6 p.m. with a service of remembrance 6 p.m. Thursday, June 8, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth.
