ADDISON – Joseph “Joe” I. Bazylak III, 25, passed away unexpectedly March 18, 2007. He was born July 17, 1981, in East Meadow, N.Y., the son of Laura L. Allison and Joseph I. Bazylak Jr. He worked as a sternman, lobster fishing. Joe was an avid outdoorsmen, enjoying dirt bike racing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling and fishing. He was affectionately referred to as “car show Joe.” He also loved working on cars and spending time with his friends. Joe, although contrary to pop-ular sentiment in the area, was an avid New York Yankees fan. He is survived by his mother, Laura Allison and husband, Bill, of East Moline, Ill.; siblings, Jessica Andrade and husband, Sal, of Moline, Ill., Michael Bazylak and Kayla Rankin of Rock Island, Ill., Katelyn Monroe of East Moline, Ill., and Shawn Monroe of Jonesport; fianc?e, Amber Thistlewood of Addison; grandparents, Jim Hearn and wife, Joyce, of Addison; very special aunt and uncle, Melissa and Michael Emerson of Addison; uncle, Jim Hearn Jr. and wife, Pam, of Cherryfield; aunt, Megan Abramowski and husband, Terry, of Levittown, N.Y.; cousins, Catherine and Michael Emerson II, Jordan and Jalyssa Hearn, Edward, Jennifer and Justine Abramowski; best friend, James Robinson Jr.; many other friends too numerous to mention; and beloved dog, Lexie. Visiting hours will be held 6-8 Wednesday, March 21, at Community of Christ, Jonesport, where a service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, March 22. Burial will be held after the service at Indian River Cemetery. After the service friends are welcome to join the family at Melissa and Michael Emerson’s home in Addison for a celebration of Joe’s life.
