LINCOLN – Joyce Clara-Louise (Pelletier) Thompson, 70, died Aug. 4, 2005, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born April 21, 1935, in Old Town, the daughter of Ernest Charles and Nellie Mae (Dawes) Pelletier. Joyce was a very nice person who had many friends. She enjoyed doing crafts and embroidery work. She is survived by two sisters, Ernestine Pelletier of Layton, Utah, and Beverly Melanson of Old Town; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Robert F. Pelletier and Ronald E. Pelletier. A memorial mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, at Holy Family Parish Church, Old Town, with the Rev. Rudolph Leveille presiding. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Old Town. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to KFI, 9 Main St., Lincoln, ME 04457.
