MONTICELLO – Joyce Flewelling, 74, died Aug. 26, 2005, at Houlton. She was born Nov. 29, 1930, in Bridgewater, the daughter of Raymond and Edna (Ricker) Allen. She is survived by two step- sons, Gerry and Gary Flewelling, of Monticello; and several grandchildren and great-stepgrandchildren; three sisters, Ruth Burtt of Leicester, Mass., Hazel Swimm of Monticello, and Betty Evans of Topsham; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Flewelling; one brother, Walter Allen; and two stepchildren, Bonnie Rae and Larry Flewelling. Friends may call Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of departure at the Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, for the Jewell Cemetery where a graveside funeral service will be held at noon with Pastor Whitfield Curtis Officiating.
