WOODLAND – Joyce Marie Rossignol, 64, died Jan. 24, 2007, in Caribou, after a long illness. She was born April 16, 1942, in Caribou, the daughter of the late William and Blanche E. (Libby) Bubar Sr. Joyce was employed throughout the years by Mecon Manufacturing and the Caribou Nursing Home. She was a member of the Carson Pentecostal Church, Woodland. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, watching scary movies, four wheeling and spending time with her family and friends. She touched everyone’s hearts even in her trying times. Never complained, and still had a smile on her face for everyone. She is going to be sadly missed by her family and friends. Joyce is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Robert Rossignol Sr. of Woodland; three sons and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Chris Rossignol of Caribou, Danny R. Rossignol and Andy Rossignol and his fiance, Crystal Rediker, all of Woodland; one daughter, Lisa Anderson and her fiance, Dave Bubar, of Woodland; four stepchildren, Robert Rossignol Jr. of Presque Isle, Alan Rossignol and his wife, Judy, of Woodland, Marvin Rossignol and his wife, Valarie, of Caribou and one daughter and her husband of Caribou; four grandchildren, Nate Rossignol of Caribou, McKenzie Rossignol of Woodland, Stephanie Anderson and her fiance, Nate Voisine of Fort Fairfield and Chelsea Anderson of Woodland; one great-grandson, Kalib “Punkie” Anderson of Fort Fairfield; six stepgrandchildren, Alisha Rossignol of Presque Isle, Cote Rossignol of Bangor, Ethan Rossignol of Woodland, Mike, Joshua and Justin Rossignol, all of Caribou; a sister, Norma Younker and her husband, Kevin, of Bristol; a brother, Robert Butler and his wife, Mary, of Woodland; a sister-in-law, Jackie Nadeau of Caribou; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and two very special people, who stood by her side through her toughest moments, Pheobe Clayton and Shirley Everett. Joyce was predeceased by her mother; stepfather, John Butler; her father; and a brother, William Bubar Jr. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Carson Pentecostal Church with the Rev. John Palmer, pastor, officiating. Spring interment will be at Woodland Cemetery. The family extends a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Dumont for the wonderful care and compassion shown to our loved one, the nurses and staff at Cary Medical Center ICU unit, Robert Griffith for being so kind and courteous, and the whole pulmonary support staff. Words cannot express our gratitude for the care you showed our mother and wife during those final days.
