CORINNA – Judy E. Paige, 66, died Jan. 13, 2004, at her Chamberlain Meeting House Road residence. She was born March 30, 1937, at Marlboro, Mass., a daughter of George and Lillian (Barton) Garcia. She graduated from Northboro High School, Class of 1954, and the North Shore Children’s Hospital nursing program in Salem, Mass., Class of 1957. She was a pediatric nurse at the Boston Floating Hospital for 11 years. On Sept. 27, 1968, she married James Elwin Paige. In 1978, her family moved to their farm on the Chamberlain Meeting House Road in Corinna. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Newport. In addition to her husband of Corinna, she is survived by her mother, Lillian Manning of Marlboro, Mass.; two sons, Bradford of Newport, Thomas and wife, Colleen, of Pittsfield; three stepsons, the Rev. James Elwin Paige Jr. and wife, Peggy, of Michigan, Daniel Paige of Exeter, Russell and wife, Susanne Paige, of Exeter; a stepdaughter, Terry Fields of Michigan; two brothers, John Manning of Marlboro, Mass., George and wife, Nancy Garcia, of Northboro, Mass.; a sister, Maureen and husband, David Murray, of Worcester, Mass.; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Bradford; a grandson, Dylan; and a granddaughter, Ashley. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Harold Wheeler, interim minister of the Calvary Baptist Church of Newport, officiating. A graveside committal service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, at the family lot, Lakeview Cemetery, Upton, Mass. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Calvary Baptist Church Expansion Fund, care of Carlyle Stackpole, Treasurer, 39 Grove Street, Newport, ME.
