MILLINOCKET – Justin Robert Seamans, passed away unexpectedly March 5, 2006. He would have celebrated his 29th birthday March 25, 2006. He was born in Millinocket to Susan (Rogerson) Seamans and Dennis Seamans. Justin was a kind and gentle person, with a great love for the outdoors and love of animals. He especially loved the freedom of being out fishing. He and his father often fished on the West Branch of the Penobscot for bass and once and awhile a good dunking. He was also an avid pool player and had become very good at it. He played in the pool league, as a valued member of his father’s team. A loyal friend to all of his friends, he would literally give you the shirt off of his back to help someone out. He is survived by a devoted mother and father. Along with his older sister, Barbara and brother, Jay. He was a good uncle to two nephews, Ricky and Bradley; one niece, Lacey. He was very close to his two uncles, Kenny and Steven Rogerson. His paternal grandmother, Bernice Nickerson and maternal grandmother, Nancy Rogerson. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Bexton Seamans; and his maternal grandfather, Robert Rogerson and also Barbara Welch Rogerson (who had passed away before Justin arrived to this world). He leaves many aunts and uncles, cousins, many other close relatives and many good friends. His wishes to his mother were not to have a funeral or wake and wanted to be cremated. There will be a Celebration of Life to be celebrated on his birthday, March 25, 2006. The gathering will be held 1-4 p.m. at the V.F.W. Please bring photos of Justin and stories to share. Any donations can be made in Justin’s name to the following charities: Maine Humane Society and the Katahdin Area Support group.
