BELFAST – Kathleen A. Larrabee, 79, died Wednesday, May 4, 2005, at a Belfast healthcare facility. Kathleen was born Nov. 21, 1926, at Belfast, the daughter of Byron and Flora (Elms) Elwell. She was a member of the Primrose Chapter O.E.S. at Belfast and the Northport Community Church. She was predeceased by her husband, David L. Larrabee; a son, Davey Larrabee; two brothers, Howard and Richard Elwell; her grandson, Kristopher Seekins; and her two seeing eye dogs, Portia and Exxon. Kathleen is survived by four children, Elaine and her husband, Bud Caranhan and their children, Matthew, Adam and Katey of Northport; Nancy and her husband, Frank Dodge, and their daughter, Melanie of Belfast; Sandra and her husband, Don Peaslee, and their children Bill, Jenn and Sarah of Belfast; Dianne Seekins and her daughter, Jessie of Belfast; four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Dylan, Logan, Nathan. Memorial services will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at the Northport Community Church, with the Rev. Robert Bell officiating.
