BELFAST – Kathleen Mary Hanley, 41, died Aug. 27, 2005, at a local healthcare facility. She was born Sept. 21, 1963, in Oceanside, N.Y., the daughter of Philip and Josephine (Reardon) Hanley. Kathleen was a chef at Darby’s restaurant for the past 10 years. She had a great sense of humor and always had the ability to make people laugh and smile, and she also loved her cats, Cheddar and Cotton. She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Phyllis Naidoo. Kathleen was survived by her loving partner, Karen Tompkins, and her children, Charlie and Will Tompkins; sister, Debra Trucks; nieces, Angela and Joanna Alvino, Christine and Jennifer K. Trucks; a nephew, Alex Naidoo; as well as all of her friends at Darby’s. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29 at the Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday. Arrangements are under the care of Crabiel- Riposta Funeral Home.
