BREWER and JONESBORO Keith F. Bridgham, 78, died Dec. 16, 2004, at the Maine Veterans’ Home, Bangor. He was born March 14, 1926, in Jonesboro, the son of Alfred and Juanita (Noyes) Bridgham. Keith graduated from Brewer High School, and the University of Maine, Orono, where he received his Masters Degree. He served his country in the U.S. Navy stationed mostly in the Pacific Theater during World War II. His teaching career began at what was once called the Sargent School, South Main Street in Brewer, then taught at the Brewer Junior High School, ending with 14 years as its principal. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Brewer. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Julia (Urquhart) Bridgham; two sisters, Barbara Dobbin and husband, Rollins, of Jonesport, Joyce Kearns, and husband James, of Bangor; sister-in-law, Alicia Norton, of Jonesboro and Bangor; and several nieces and nephews, and great-friend and fishing buddy, Stephen Dolley, of Holden. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 1 p.m., Dec 21, at Brookings-Smith Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, with the Rev. Dr. George Curtis III, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Brewer, officiating. Interment will be at Bay View Cemetery, Jonesport.
