INVERNESS, FLA. – Keith W. Humphrey, 68 died suddenly Oct. 21, 2003, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, Fla. He was born at Washburn, May 20, 1935, the son of Fred and Bertha (Barker) Humphrey. He graduated from Washburn High School, Class of 1953, served in the U.S. Air Force 1954-1957, and graduated from the University of Maine at Presque Isle in 1962. Keith taught for two years in Livermore Falls, and worked as an insurance adjuster for over 30 years in New York and New Jersey. He is survived by a brother, Tim Humphrey and his wife, Jane of Washburn, two sisters, Nanalee Buckingham and her husband, Graydon of Washburn, and Jolita Churchill of Winder, Ga.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Relatives and friends are invited to gather 1 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be in Riverside Ext. Cemetery, Washburn.
