SEARSPORT – Kenneth I. Marriner Jr., 32, died unexpectedly July 14, 2005, at a Belfast hospital. He was born May 10, 1973, in Belfast, the son of Kenneth I. and Ella L. (Rumney) Marriner Sr. Ken was a big fan of Elvis Presley, loved to watch boxing and wrestling on his t.v., and riding his bike. He is survived by his father, Kenneth I. Marriner Sr. of Searsport; his mother, Ella Martin and her husband, Armand, of Searsmont; maternal grandmother, Lavaughn Rumney of Belfast; several aunts, uncles, and many cousins. He was predeceased by paternal grandfather and grandmother, Clifton and Christine (Davis) Marriner; his maternal grandfather, Paul K. Rumney; and his brother, Paul Michael Marriner. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2005, at the Marriner Cemetery, East Searsmont, with the Rev. Jeffrey Davis officiating.
