LINCOLN – Kenneth L. “Bumpa” Glidden Sr., 52, husband of Karen (Pete) Glidden, died Sept. 12, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Nov. 30, 1954, in Lincoln, the son of Richard and Thelma (Libby) Glidden. Kenneth enjoyed candlepin bowling, hunting and his work. He loved to help others. In addition to his wife and his mother, he is survived by a son, Kenneth Glidden Jr. and his wife, Melinda, of Hermon; a daughter, Kristy and her husband, David Huffstutler, of New Market, N.H.; a grandchild, Madyson Huffstutler; a brother, Jerry Glidden and his wife, Dawn, of Old Town; two sisters, Marlene and her husband, Roscoe Tash, of Chester, and Julie and her husband, Darryl Sterling, of Caribou; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Tim Shaw officiating.
