SEDGWICK – Kermit M. Gray, 69, died Sept. 8, 2004, at a Blue Hill hospital. He was born in Sedgwick, May 16, 1935, the son of Kenneth and Ruth (Astbury) Gray. Kermit worked for local mining companies before working many years for L.A. Dow and Sons until his retirement. He was a member of the Ira Berry Lodge for over 40 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Lelia M. Gray; two sons, Jeffery Gray and his wife, Tina, of Sedgwick, Kent Gray of Sedgwick; one daughter, Glenda Torrey and her husband, Lawrence, of Blue Hill; two sisters, Roberta Pert and her husband, Duane, of Sedgwick, Beverly Walls and her husband, Robert, of Blue Hill; grandchildren, Michael, Derek, and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Lucus, and Maddox. Kermit was predeceased by his brother, Wayne in 2003. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, at Pine Grove Cemetery, Sedgwick, with Pastor Richard Rockwell officiating.
