NORRIDGEWOCK – Kristopher C. Brown, 31, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at a Skowhegan hospital. He was born Jan. 26, 1974, in Skowhegan, the son of Gregory and Shirley (Gilbert) Brown. He graduated from Skowhegan High School, Class of 1992. He married the former Jennifer Goodrich, Nov. 26, 1994. He was district manager for Carquest Filters and Gaskets. Kristopher was baseball program director in Norridgewock and was on the Skowhegan Fair Committee. He was a wonderful son, husband, and father. He was an outdoor person who enjoyed being with family and friends. He took great pride in his sons with whom he spent hours playing baseball. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; two sons, Chandler and Kamden, all of Norridgewock; his mother, Shirley Ashley and husband, Robert; his father, Gregory Brown and wife, Michelle; stepsister, Tara Boulier and husband, Chris, of Bangor; maternal grandmother, Clara Gilbert, all of Skowhegan; father-in-law, Charles Goodrich of Connecticut; sister-in-law, Melissa Goodrich of Portland; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visiting hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 8, at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan. A Mass of Christian Burial will held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, Water St., Skowhegan. Private graveside service will be held at a later date. Those who wish may make donations in Kris’ memory to his sons, Chandler and Kamden Brown College Trust Fund, care of Franklin Somerset Federal Credit Union, 43 Leavitt St., Skowhegan, ME 04976.
