CARIBOU – Larry Chamberlain, 56, died Sept. 11, 2005, at Caribou, after a short illness. He was born Nov. 24, 1948, at Caribou, the son of Harvey and Bertha (Thibodeau) Chamberlain. After graduating from Caribou High School, Larry served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was also a member of the 1st BN 152nd Field Artillery National Guard, in Caribou, for many years. He was a retired Civil Service employee at Loring Air Force Base and attended the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He is survived by a son, Brent Chamberlain of Deltona, Fla. and his fianc?e, Ronette Bragg; a daughter, Shelly Chamberlain of Caribou and her fianc?, Scott Jackson; one brother, Ervin Chamberlain of Seigas, N.B.; and a sister, Susan Plourde and her husband, Rick, of Caribou; four grandchildren, Cole, Evan, Mackenzie and Marissa. He was predeceased by four brothers, Roger, Gilman, Roy and Donald Chamberlain. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Fr. Carroll Plourde, officiating in a Mass of Christian burial. Interment will take place in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. <>
