HOULTON – Laura L. Belyea, 81, died Nov. 13, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 23, 1924, at Castle Hill, the daughter of William and Grace (Newbegin) McEachern. She is survived by one son, John Belyea and his wife, Annette, of Houlton; two lovely grandchildren, John Belyea Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, of Smyrna and Ashley Marie Belyea of Houlton; one great-granddaughter, Victoria Belyea of Florida; four sisters, Bessie Carmichael of Castle Hill and Joyce Savoia of Mapleton, Ida Richardson of Castle Hill, Marion Cochran of Belgrade; one brother, Perley McEachern of Canada; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur D. Belyea; her daughter, Deanna; her infant son, several brothers and sisters. Friends may call noon until time of service 1 p.m. Thursday at the Dunn Funeral Home with the Rev. David Tuttle officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
