WATERVILLE and ELLSWORTH – Laura L. DeWitt, 77, died Oct. 27, 2005, at a Waterville hospital. She was born Sept. 19, 1928, in Beddington, the daughter of Ray and Doris D. (Smith) Farnsworth. She is survived by sons, Larry DeWitt of Ellsworth, Gerald Humphrey of New Jersey, Raymond Humphrey of Amh-erst; a daughter, Lois Smart of Mattawamkeag; a niece, Juanita Wainwright of Clifton, and several grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be private for the family. Interment will be at Mount Rest Cemetery, Amherst. A service of Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor.
