LINCOLN – Laura M. Thompson, 75, wife of the late George Thompson, died March 20, 2005, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born Oct. 1, 1929, in Springfield, the daughter of Ralph and Isabelle T. (Worster) Worster. Laura was an excellent cook and she cooked for many various organizations. She was a very special person to her family and her many friends. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Thompson Trott and her husband, Butch, of Lincoln; two beautiful grandchildren, Chelsea and Tyler, who meant the world to her; a brother, Walter Worster of Kingman; five sisters, Lurene Thompson of Mattawamkeag, Inez Osnoe of Lee, Nellie Stevens of Lee, who was extra special in the care she gave to Laura, Elaine Scott of Springfield, and Cecile Chesley of Kingman; a sister-in-law, Anna Worster; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Russell Worster. Graveside services will be held later in the spring at the Thompson Cemetery, Prentiss.
