FRENCHVILLE – Lawrence J. Levesque, 66, died Oct. 15, 2006, surrounded by his family at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 9, 1940, in Frenchville, the son of Henry and Emily (Fournier) Levesque. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Iva (Pelletier); five sons, Hervin and Deb of Madawaska, Michael and friend, Bonnie, of Wells, Donald and Carol of Fort Kent, Steven and friend, Gina, of Fort Kent and Larry and Penny of Frenchville; one daughter, Louise and fiance, Mike, of Petersburg, Pa.; 13 grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren; six brothers, Romeo and Lorette of New Britain, Conn., Alyre and Madeline, Oneil and Lois, both of Sanford, Emile and Alice of Connecticut, Joseph and Claude, both of Sanford; two sisters, Patricia and her husband, Gerald Labbe, of Bristol, Conn., and Aline Mayo and friend, Steve, of Sanford. He was predeceased by one brother, Gilbert in 1981; and one sister, Joan in 1974. Friends and relative may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. Thursday until time of services at the Michaud Funeral Home, Frenchville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Luce Catholic Church with the Rev. Philip Cyr officiating. Burial will be at St. Luce Cemetery.
