LINCOLN – Leila C. Gordon, 89, wife of the late Stephen Gordon, passed away Jan. 5, 2008, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born Jan. 11, 1918, in Lowell, the daughter of Charles F. and Grace E. (Jipson) Hatch. Leila enjoyed camping and fishing, and her camp on Dobsis Lake. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and keeping up with all of their activities. She is survived by two children, Katherine Gagnon and Galen of Mattawamkeag and Wayne Gordon and Carole of Tolland, Conn.; three grandchildren, Jason Gagnon of Mattawamkeag, Glenn Gordon of Rumford and Colleen Gor-don of Ellington, Conn.; four great-grandchildren, Sarah Gagnon and Garett Gagnon, both of Mattawamkeag and Victoria Gordon and Morgan Gordon, both of Rumford; siblings, Bill Walker and Ginny of Florida, Charlene Rideout of Burlington, Anita McKee of Washington state, Priscilla Shea and George of Natick, Mass., Andy Hatch and Judy of Burlington and Randy Hatch and Sandra of Lincoln; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by two grandchildren, Tony Gagnon and Stephen Gagnon; and a sister, Kathy McKinnon. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. William Bewell officiating. Spring interment will be at Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to either Lincoln Center Baptist Church or the activities fund at Colonial Acres Nursing Home.
