GRAND ISLE – Leo H. Doucette, 89, died Jan. 18, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Grand Isle, July 15, 1914, the son of Hubert and Odelie (Thibodeau) Doucette. He was predeceased by his wife, Annie (Lizotte) Doucette, in 1986; and by one son, Raymond. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Juanita Bouchard and her husband, Ronald, of Van Buren, Mrs. Lorraine Theriault and her husband, Claude, of Chelmsford, Mass., Mrs. Linda Martin and her husband, Gatean, of Plainville, Conn.; five sons, Guy and his wife, Constance, and Harold and his wife, Marie, all of East Hartford, Conn., Gerald and his wife, Paulette, of South Windsor, Conn., Roger and his wife, Judy, of Grand Isle, and Ronald and his wife, Janice, of Bristol, Conn.; three sisters, Mrs. Lottie Poulin and her husband, Rosaire, and Mrs. Patsy Fecteau and her husband, Larry, all of Augusta, and Mrs. Ann Cormier and her husband, Cyr, of Hartford, Conn.; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the St. Gerard Church in Grand Isle. Friends and relatives may call at the Daigle Funeral Home from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 until time of services on Friday. Interment will be in the St. Gerard Cemetery in the spring.
