BANGOR – Lewis Bradford Inman, 77, passed away peacefully with his beloved wife by his side, at the Maine Veterans’ Home, Bangor. He was born July 28, 1927, in Howland the son of the late Lewis B. and Nellie (Wallace) Inman. Lewis graduated from Howland High School in 1946. He was a 38-year veteran having served in the U.S. Army post World War II and later in the Air National Guard. Lewis also retired from employment with the State of Maine. He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge, No. 168 A.F. & A.M., of LaGrange. Lewis was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Bangor. He enjoyed spending family time at his camp on Holbrook Pond, traveling and riding his motorcycle. Lewis is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Geneva (Byron) Inman; their daughters, Brenda Easley and husband, John, of Warner Robins, Ga., Carol Bilotta and husband, Robert, of Glenburn, and Kathleen Gaudet of Bangor; a brother, Harold Inman of Lincoln; sister, Beatrice Mushero of Millinocket; grandchildren, Bradford Bilotta and wife, Ellen, Brenda Bilotta, Jonathan Gaudet and William Easley. He was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. Friends are invited to visit with the family 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 22, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 23, with the Rev. Dr. Randall Chretien, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
