MEDWAY – Linda A. Thompson, 64, passed away, Friday, March 11, 2005, at a local health care facility. Linda was born Aug. 26, 1940, in Old Town, the daughter of Stephen and Edna (Spearrin) McLain. Linda liked to work with crafts and especially loved to spend time with her loving family. She would always be there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She is survived by her loving husband, Ray Thompson of Medway; three children, Steven Ray Thompson of Woodville, Rex Scott Thompson of Prospect, and Traci Marie Fletcher of North Carolina; her brother, Bradley Ray McLain; nine grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her stepfather, Irvin Young. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2005, at R.L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 17 Western Avenue, East Millinocket. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, at the First Congregational Church in East Millinocket, with Pastor Andrew McLeod officiating. Spring burial will be held at Grindstone Cemetery.
